Well, I wouldn’t use actual duct tape. There are a number of skin tapes that you can buy. I’m not sure how well they work. I’m very large breasted [DD], so I assumed they wouldn’t work on me. There’s only so much support a piece of tape can offer!

I’ve tried the silicon cups before. Not for a wedding dress, but with a top and all I can say is they do not work like they do on TV unless I am seriously doing something wrong. My boobs were not lifted and pushed together or sexy at all. I have no advice on taping, just wanted to add my two cents in on the silicon inserts.

What exactly is the problem with your boobs?  I wouldn’t recommend duct taping them… imagine your new DH having to rip that off when you get done with the reception….

Sweeping the back fat means (as far as I know) having someone put their hand under the back of your dress and just running their hands along it so your skin can adjust – I’ve heard it works like a charm!

As a former pageant girl who has duct taped her boobs more time than i can count….. yes it works…. but YES it hurts!

With the “chicken cutlets you can get even more….

put them on, and bend over at the waist

put the edge of the duct take on on your left boob and then cradle your boobs together with your left arm

take the tape under your boobs butpulling them up at the same time and then tape on the right side.

(almost like a duct tape swing for your boobs?)

you will need to do it about three times — but not all over the same exact piece of tape.  the tape over laps each other about 1/2 inch

when it comes time to come off.. take a shower and use some baby oil.

( i duct tape my boobs all the time and am a firm believer in the magic “umph” of tape lol)

duct taping boobs is stupid because you sweat and it doesn’t stay stuck.

If your dress has boning in the top, you should be able to get the top fitted well enough that you won’t have problems with the back.  Also, a slight V in the back helps more than a straight across back to conceal any trouble zones.

@mchitt329:  Yes, that’s pretty much what sweeping the back fat is! Have someone stick their hands down your dress (palms facing them), and run their hands outwards across your back. My alterations lady showed my mom how to do it… mortifying and AWESOME at the same time!

@MrsJJC:  LOL!  As long as it fixes the problem so it doesn’t show in pictures!
