Great job! I think you earned a shake or some fries with those burgers as well! :)
Awesome crafty! I finally dropped off my invites this week too. Such a relief!
Glad you had a friendly helpful postal employee..it makes all the difference.
I celebrated with a big glass of pinot grigio!! =)
And by letting out a big sigh of relief...
I know that at some point while we were addressing envelopes, the words "I need a drink!" came from my mouth. Smarty laughed so hard, because he can pretty much count on his fingers the number of drinks I've had in the last year. :o)
PS: Miss PG, you and I got engaged one day apart!
I dropped mine off today! I took 3 cabs and went to two post offices before I found a trustworthy person to hand them over too. FI kept telling me, stop treating them like a newborn!! Now I think I'm in postpartum depression because I worked so hard to deliver them!!!! ![]()
Time for a well earned glass of shiraz.

This morning I finally dropped off my precious little invitations at the campus post office! The sweet lady behind the counter not only agreed to hand-cancel the stamps, but took care to not cover over them completely because "they are so pretty".
I can't tell you what a relief this is (especially after the a major vendor hiccup two weeks ago that forced me to scramble and find another printer). We managed to trim, assemble and address them all over the past three nights.
I told Smarty that we'll need to celebrate with something special for dinner tonight... I'm thinking burgers at The Biltmore. Mmm! :o)
How did you celebrate your major accomplishment?
