I love the idea for a bridal shower! I'm still tossing up if I'm going to have one (if I do then my mum will host it in a theme of my choosing) and the whole concept of this is just too adorable!
Here is an idea for a wedding cake. I got it from Mike's Amazing Cakes.

those pics of ashlee and pete's wedding are neat, other than that quote she has up there in the one where she's wearing the wedding dress,
"it was the most innocent i ever felt, i felt childlike."
now, that's kinda creepy...especially since she was pregnant at her wedding...

Well that's true Krissy, but she had a cool wedding. I think Mindy Weiss did it! I think I left innocent back like 20 years ago. (40 now).
If I could just feel "collegiate" again at mine I'd be cool w/that. lmao!

My other wedding would be Alice in Wonderland themed! I love it!!!
I'm having an Alice wedding...but a totally different Alice feel!
Disney's Alice in Wonderland premiered in 1951, so I'm playing with both the light and vibrant colors of the film's concept art by Mary Blair and the color palette (especially the "World of My Own" sequence in the beginning!) and pulling a lot of a retro '50s vibe.
But I really want to steal their cake.
And fix Pete Wentz's hair...it looks like it's plastered to his head...
I loved Ashlee and Pete's wedding! It's so very different from anything I would ever plan.... I think that's why I love it.
