I don't much beach or pool time so I usually just buy one swimsuit every other year. This year, I bought this one:
that's super cute! i love how there are so many cute one piece options now :-)
I just got a new Tyler Rose bikini. Love their suits!
Here it is on the model (definitely not me). The back is really cute too, has fringe on the bottoms.
Also got a red one-piece from Zac Posen's target line that is really flattering.
Yay! This is my new suit, I wore it out Sunday! Yes, this is me in the pic. Old Navy!
@PDX Bride in Seattle: Until I was like 19 I was basically a AA and was ALL ABOUT the ruffly bandeau tops. They do a good job of drawing eyes to the design of the top and not your lack of nature-given assets, and definitely filled out the area in general. Would highly recommend.
As much as I hate swimming and wearing swimsuits, it looks like I'm not going to be able to avoid it this year so I've been on the quest for the perfect one...not easy. Sigh.
This is mine from Old Navy! I got it new for my cruise in June. I don't usually behave like a chair hog on cruises, but I might have to with this suit.LOL I love the old school look of it. :)
I've bought 3 this year! We will be honeymooning in Phuket this summer, so that's my justification.
They are all from J Crew. One is a pinky/nude halter bikini and these are the other 2.

Am I the only one who hasn't bought one this year? I wore an old suit on our trip last week (because I'm not really feeling like celebrating with a new suit) and I don't leave near the beach or a pool that I can use so I don't see a reason to get one.
@MissAsB-I live 15 minutes from the beach...and I pretty much have to get at least 2 new ones every year because they get worn out since I use them practically every weekend for 5 months ;) when I didnt live near the beach I would get one new one every 2 yrs or so
MissAsB: I hate swimming and am not a beachy girl so I haven't bought one in five years! This is a new development for me. I don't fit into the ones I had five years ago (
) and FI is dragging me on vacation to the beach with the FILs (long story), so I really had no option! We even have a pool and hot tub in our backyard, I just never use them. Not a fan!
I live 10 minutes from the beach.. and I never go :D
However I do work at a summer day camp so all my swimsuits are of the "sportier" style :/ I buy about 2 swimsuits a year for work so I can never justify spending more money on a non-work (aka CUTE!) suit.

We went on a minimoon yesterday (yeah, I know.. one day) and I had to buy one because I totally spaced and forgot mine. It is just a plain black and white tye dye bikini top (I never buy bottoms because I wear shorts for some reason) but yeah it was fun =) Yeah Virginia beach I got so hammered. lol
I'm waiting for these to come in the mail! All of them are still on sale in case any of you ladies are still looking for some cute suits :)

I haven't gotten a new suit in ages so I hope these work out :)
No new swimsuit for me this year! We went on a cruise last summer and I bought about a million new suits for that, so I'm restricting myself this summer!

Well...at least it's almost swimsuit season here in the northwest...although the weather has been pretty bipolar the last few weeks.
Anyway, I'm on the hunt for a new swimsuit! Anyone seen anything super cute? Has anyone bought a ruffly bikini top? I've heard they're good for small chested people like myself :-/
