I actually found one at Wal-Mart that I really loved, if you can believe that. it's a bit past my comfort zone, really open in the front, but it ties behind my neck, so I just tie it a little tighter. I don't always have the patience to dig through their zoo of swimcrap, but every once in awhile, i get lucky.
I actually got a couple at JC Penny. I'm a D and size 16 I bought a tankini top that fits my bust size and a skirted bottom that fit perfectly. They had some great options in store, Not as much online.
OLD NAVY!!! i got a bunch of cute swimwear from there and i am a size 18! and yes i got them all i couldnt help it!!! lol

as you can see i love animal print lol
oops sorry the images are so big! i thought i had resized them!
i went through vs, since their stores don't carry the DD that i need, i ordered almost $500 worth of swim wear, tried it all on, and actually got to keep two tops!! so excited, because i usually have to wear something that looks like it's made for a swimming sport so that i don't pop out of the top!! (think tankini meets sports bra, not cute) this year i get to have a real live 2 piece(even though i admit myself i probably shouldn't wear a seperate two piece, oh well) that don't touch or look like a sports bra!
Mrs.MedinaJr - i might go to old navy and get that top pruple one !!! too cute!
Old Navy, Lane Bryant, JC Penny, Target....I have gotten bathing suits from all of these places although I must say the ones I ordered from target (online) were the best. They have some really nice separates that are trendy without displaying too much skin.
Thanks ladies, I ended up ordering something from figleaves after all. I just can't get away from them ;) I always go back and forth because I don't want to spend too much, but I talked myself into it since it's probably the only bathing suit I'll get all season. Plus I just feel way more comfortable in ones that are done by bra sizing with underwire, rather than by clothing sizes. Here's what I got:

cute! thanks for the tip on figleaves too - they have great stuff!
I always get mine at JCrew (since you can mix and match top and bottom), and I also like Victoria Secret (once you remove the pads it comes with -- like people our bust size need padding!), it usually fits fine.
Halter tops are best though, since you can just tie it tighter to make it fit. Triangle tops are a big no, no for me. They don't hold a thing!
I bought this one last year for our trip to vegas (never even wore it!) http://www.alwaysforme.com/goddess-plus-swim-suit.html I am very self-conscious about my tummy and thighs so this was a great buy!!
I got this one from Old Navy. I LOVE it.
Quite low cut too.LOL I'm not that busty (only a 38D), but my sister is a DD and she gets hers from Avenue.
alwaysforme.com is AMAZING!!! I bought 2 suits off there for a cruise I went on last year and I couldn't be happier. They are great quality - tuck and hold me in in all the right places!! I have never felt sexy and confident in a bathing suit until I bought those - and they have some really cute styles!

Yes the dreaded beach season is coming up, and I have to find a bathing suit :(
Don't get me wrong, I love summer! I just hate how swimwear seems to be made for people who are a c-cup and under, or who are over the age of 70. Sorry, those little triangles of fabric aren't going to do jack for me, but I don't want to look like a grandma either!
Fellow busty ladies, where do you find cup-sized swimwear? I usually use figleaves (they have a 20% off sale on right now!) but for some reason I'm just not seeing anything I like there today. Help me out?
