Sorry, but 5 DPO is too early for symptoms.  TTC can really make us a little nutty though, I’ve been there!  GL to you!

I had strange cramps, more mild and nagging than pms cramps from O until a few weeks after BFP, other symptoms didn’t start until right around the time I actually ‘missed’ my period.

Try not to symptom spot- it’s easy for me to say that now, I was a total nutty symptom spotter, but i just made BFN’s so much worse 🙁

good luck!

I think it’s too early for symptoms since it doesn’t implant until 6-12 DPO (usually 9) and only then do you start to produce the hCG that causes symptoms.

I’m not much help, I didn’t notice any pregnancy symptoms (I wasn’t looking) until I was 7-8 weeks along.

I think when we’re TTC, we start to notice things we never noticed before, because we want to have those pregnancy symptoms.

Honestly, I had “symptoms” every month and thought I was pregnant. The one month I had no real symptoms at all, I ended up pregnant. lol

Good luck! I hope the rest of your TWW goes fast & you get a BFP!

We weren’t trying when I got pregnant so I wasn’t symptom spotting, but during the TWW I just knew I was pregnant since too many odd things were going on. I can’t remember how early on I realized that something was up though.  Probably closer to a week after when I think I ovulated.

I hear ya – I’m totally in the same boat. I got a positive OPK on Monday and I’m already jumping at every little twinge. I hope your TWW flies by, good luck!

@terpalum10:  Everyone else has said it all, but just to throw this in, I find that during my TWW (from O onward) my sense of smell is SUPER STRONG. I already have a really strong sense of smell, but it gets 10x worse. Also, my nips do all sorts of odd things during my TWW, too. I don’t want to be a Debbie Downer, and I REALLY hope these things mean something for you–but I just wanted to let you know that I experience some of the same stuff and I haven’t gotten my BFP yet.

@terpalum10:  I’m going to feed into your madness! Google early pregnancy symptoms, or symptoms 6dpo. There’s another message board (don’t think I can link it), that has peple listing their symptoms by days, and then whether they got a positive or not. It helps pass the time, and I don’t let it get my hopes up too much!

@terpalum10:  good luck! let us know if/when you test again 🙂 I’m due to test 11/19 and am anxiously awaiting the day…i’ve had LOTS of cramping this afternoon and evening; i’m not sure if that’s implantation or AF coming early…
