@Mrs.Moser:  I had lots of weird cramps/pains during the first trimester and they always worried me but everything was fine. Now, I’m in the second trimester and I have awesome growing pains. I think it’s pretty par for the course. I’d only be worried if you had spotting and really painful period like cramps combined.

@Mrs.Moser:  I had a previous ectopic and for me, I didn’t have ANY symptoms until a day or so before my tube burst, with searing pain in my left side like sharp, shooting pains. I also bled basically the entire time I was pregnant, which is common for ectopic.

I’m sure everything is just fine, good luck 🙂

@Mrs.Moser:  I’m having the same thing! My mid-low abdominal area has been having mild cramping, tugging feelings. I’ve spoken to a couple nurses and they all said it’s totally normal to have this at 4-5 weeks and it should only be a problem if there’s spotting or if it’s very painful. I’m feeling very paranoid as well. Apparently drs out here don’t typically see people til around 10+ weeks and I just can’t wait

I was worried too. I’m 5 weeks and I’ve been told by other bees to drink more water when cramping and it’s normal Growing pains. I get tummy aches at night too…no bueno. I just rub my tummy and it goes away thankfully. I go in for a prenatal appt next week

@Mrs.Moser:  I can’t tell you from experience, but from a lot of stuff I’ve read, I’d wager you’re just feeling your muscles starting to stretch and adapt to the pregnancy (this starts to happen much earlier than you actually see those changes in your belly).  Congrats on your pregnancy!  Hope everyone moves along smoothly Smile

I had lots of strange twinges and little cramps here and there early pregnancy. You’re probably feeling the baby nesting deeper and getting comfortable 🙂

Everything is stretching for you, and your baby is making itself comfy. Unless you are having crippling cramps accompanied by bleeding, you are more than likely ok. I am almost 13 weeks, and I am still cramping a little, so it is normal. Just make sure to drink lots of water.

Totally normal unless you have bleeding. try and relax! A lot is going on in there and it won’t be the last weird cramps you have!

I’m 38wks and still get ‘period like’ cramps! Lol When we found out we were pregnant I swore my period was coming! Nope! Just everything stretching 🙂

I was so anxious, and I know it’s hard but just relax and enjoy!

I’ve got to echo what the other bees are saying; unless you’re bleeding there’s no reason to worry.

I miscarried my 1st pregnancy at 5+4 weeks, I had no cramping the entire time (even while I was bleeding). When I got pregnant again I had all sorts of sharp cramps & twinges – it really was just regular pregnancy stuff. I’m 24 weeks on wednesday!

I had that exact thing. Even before I knew I was pregnant, I was thinking what is wrong with my stomach. It felt just as you described and happened on and off until I was about 8 weeks I think? (Im 28 weeks now) Totally freaked me out once I knew I was pregnant but all was well it’s just your body adjusting to the change. It’s crazy what such a tiny thing can do and it only gets stranger! Hang in there and happy healthy 9 months!
