I wouldn’t think you should have any really symptoms before implantation occurs. Anything before that point would be related to something else…not pregnancy.

I know it’s hard, but I would try to stop reading into your symptoms. If you had some spotting and that isn’t typical for you, it sounds promising that maybe you’re on your way to a BFP! Are you charting at all? Good luck!

I don’t think you can have symptoms before implantation.  I was under the impression it is implantation which triggers the hcg and thus, the symptoms.  I think worrying about all of these symptoms is just exhausting, personally.  They really could be anything.  Just give it a few more days and then test 🙂

I agree with PP’s. You would not have any pregnancy symptoms before implantation.

pink_champagne:  did you recently come off of birth control? My first month off of the pill I had CRAZY “symptoms”. Sometimes progesterone levels can cause those symptoms. Also, when TTC, many people over analyze every little thing and think they are related. For instance, nausea and vomiting could be caused by something you ate while the back aches and crying could be PMS. I’m not saying that’s what is happening to you, just be aware that we can symptom spot like crazy when TTC.

pink_champagne:  HCG isnt produced until implantion.  Which is why you cant take a pregnancy test until after implantation.

pink_champagne:  I have never heard of symptoms before implantation. I would try to ignore all these symptoms or you will drive yourself really crazy, especially if it doesn’t work out for you this month. Fingers crossed that you are pregnant though 🙂

I did have a bunch of symptoms between 5-8DPO, and then they all stopped and I felt totally normal – I’m pretty sure now, though, that at that point I hadn’t implanted yet, so those symptoms were likely all due to progesterone.  I’ve also had several non-pregnancy cycles where I had tons of pregnancy-like symptoms.  Now (at 4weeks exactly), I’m having some real pregnancy symptoms start.  It’s hard not to symptom spot, but if you do you might really upset yourself later – unfortunately, most “early pregnancy symptoms” can just as easily happen due to progesterone and simply mean you’ll be getting your period soon.
