I just turned it on. All I've seen is the ring and one dress so far.
haha I like when she said she wanted her dress to be trashy...I'm really interested to see what she means by trashy!!!
I'm watching! Not a big fan of the title, and not sure why they need a separate show just for full figured brides, but I love any SYTTD.
I'm watching. I LOVE the first bride. She has the best personality. Usually the brides are so boring, at least to me.LOL
@ddubzz: She wasn't actually engaged. It was more of a, "we know we're going to get married, we're just waiting for the perfect time/perfect ring". I guess that was at kleinfelds?
@ktbrady: I'm not a fan of the title either... why do they need to feature full episodes of only full-figured ladies? Why not just mix them into their regular episodes?? Weird.
I turned it off pretty quickly but did catch the first bride saying, "He's from Ohio so he has manners." Huh?!
Oh my god!!! That poor, poor bride that ripped the dress. What a nightmare!! I would be mortified to know the producers played that up.
I really liked the concept of this show (minus the name-ick), but after the premier I am a little irritated. It seems like some caricature of SYTTD.
I love the dress Kelly (i think that's her name?) ended up with. So cute. I'm glad she didn't go with something "trashy".

OOOOH I was just about to start a thread about this show...
I watched tonight...and that chick was hilarious. I wish all plus sized women could be as confident as her.
The Big Bliss in general, I'm not feeling it. In many ways I feel like they're exploiting peoples insecurities and body image. Replaying an obnoxious wedding coordinator (James what's his face from long island who works with his wacky mother) saying "she looks like an apple with legs" is NOT OK.
I've only seen the one episode, and I'll watch again, but so far. I'd much rather watch Say Yes Atlanta.
@TerraWellness: James (the wedding planner) was wrong for saying that about her. He is too hyper for me. I am glad that the ladies were able to find dresses at the end, and they looked great!
I still don't like the name of the show. My FH thought I was joking when I told him the name of the show. I had to press info for him to believe me.
wait - its a whole series? i totally thought it was a special episode - like the episode that was like "high maintenance brides" one....
um yeahhh.... no.
yeah, he's obnoxious. I think he's one of the coordinators from "Whose Wedding Is It Anyway" and he's always rude to his brides. I can't imagine hiring him. so obnoxious.
I know he's not on staff at Kleinfelds, but there were also clips of one of the associates saying she didn't want to get smothered by a boob or something to that affect. ugh! so rude!!!
The first bride who wanted to look trash, she got on my nerves. she was just to extra for me. The other bride who wasn't engaged yet was so sweet.
The other bride who wanted to cry so badly, also irriated me. not everyone cries like. But I think these shows promote the idea if you don't cry its not "the one".
