Anybody notice when Mary Murphy gets excited and starts talking really loud, you can't understand her? I think only dogs can hear it.
That being said, Twitch and Katie are performing the Mercy routine. I love it!
So good - the choreography was way better last season!
Haha Mr. Cupcake just said to me "I wish her head would explode" (regarding Mary Murphy). Ha!

Future Mrs. Martin, I agree, I have been disappointed by some of the choreography the last few weeks. But I think the dancers are top notch!
The dancers are fantastic this season, but the dances are a little off. Is there a lot more hip hop and disco or is it just me? LOL I'm all for NappyTabs, but COME ON!
NappyTabs is totally hit or miss for me... I wish there were more Mia, Wade, Mandy Moore, Sonya, and Stacey Tookey numbers! They're all pretty fool-proof for me in terms of pretty much always having amazing choreography. Tyce can also be really good or really NOT.
I like the new bada$$ mean Broadway girl...she scares me, but that's a good thing.

I am all for new choreographers - I think the old veterans are all dried up in the choreography department!!! Even Mia Michaels hasn't been as good this year

I agree though, the choreography seems to be off this season, especially now after watching all the 4 Emmy nominated routines. It's funny KateMW you think there's a lot of hip hop, I've been thinking there's been way too much ballroom this year. I thought it was interesting no one did krump...

Hmm...I think the choreography is much better THIS year. I was just saying to my bf that watching the dances from last year is really making me realize just how amazing the dancers are this year. (haha...yes, my bf watches with me!!)
Mrs. Meatball was just saying on Twitter today how it's funny that there was no krumping this year. I feel like there have always been weaker numbers and stronger numbers in terms of choreography, but I was expecting the semi-finals to be a bit more exciting. Here's hoping they ramp it up next week! (NOT that I'll ever stop watching, hehe.)
re: the ballroom, I love it, so I am probably just not noticing! :) I think everybody should have to do the jive! Now, I also love hip hop, but I just keep noticing NappyTabs on there like every week.
bunnylovesbear, I think the dancers are definitely amazing this year... just not sure that the choreography they've been given has been as challenging or crowd-pleasing as past seasons.
I do think there is more ballroom this year, which I'm not a huge fan of, but overall I think the dances are more challenging and interesting to watch.
I always think its funny when the guest performers dance because it doesn't even compare to the dancers on the show!
@ Shoe Queen - I totally forgot about Krump - however only a few ppl last season could pull it off so maybe they just scrapped it! Kinda like they will do with Russian after this season!!!! LOL

I forgot about Krump too but then I remembered that Lil C was supposed to be a choreographer too but he's been a no show except for judging!
I'm loving the Bollywood routines they're incorporating now.

I love this show! I agree they could definitely use more wade and sonja routines. This year has definitely been lacking, especially in the last few weeks. Is it true that it's gonna be on again this fall? That would be awesome!
I'm still sad Jeanette (Janette? meh) is off the show. She was amazing and seemed like she had a great personality. Now I am rooting for Jeanine (I'm sure I spelled that wrong as well)! Evan's fan base must be incredible because I'm surprised he got in the final versus Ade.
There really were a lot of disco routines this season.
I'm glad there will be a fall season!
Brandon is unbelievable. I think he should win it all, too!

I am so sad that Evan is still there over Ade. Blah! I like him, but he just isn't that good. I also don't love Kayla, but those legs! She can make almost any dance look good with those mile long stems. :)

I am rooting for Jeanine to win it all :-) And I know there's some Evan-haters out there, but I have been really unimpressed with Ade lately. He's all jumps and tricks, but I don't think he was good at partnering or technique... I'm really happy with the final 4!
Best show on tv! haha So entertaining! I LOVED the dance this year that Travis choreographed with Jeanine and Jason! It was also to a fantastic Jason Mraz song. I am happy with the final four even though I felt like because everyone was good this year, it has made it hard for anyone to truly stand out. I want Jeanine to win though would be happy with Kayla too!
I love love love SYTYCD! My favourite season was last season, though! Katie, Joshua, Twich, Will and the Courtneys! I love them all so much!
Am I the only one disappointed with some of what the judges said tonight (the finale part 1)? I felt like I was watching a different show than they were...
I have been feeling this way all season!!!!
They're always so mushy in the finale... their critiques don't have as much substance when the competition gets to this level! They're all praise most of the time.

And actually, if I could vote anyone off it would Mary Murphy. Her shrieking keeps me from watching the show most of the time.
You are seriously voting for Evan? Why? I honestly am asking, but he's so obviously not the best dancer up there.
I'm Team Jeanine all the way! Like a 12-year-old, I just voted for her a million times!
People have different tastes, no? It would be a pretty boring show if we didn't. I really enjoy the fact that he has brought a "new" style to the show and like watching him. I don't really think I need more reason that that.
