All I can say is I am glad Evan didn't win. I'm sorry, I guess a lot of people liked him, but I thought other dancers were way better! I'm not a dancer though so maybe I don't know! haha. I was voting for Kayla since day 1, but Jeanine is good too.
I was so excited for Jeanine! I had trouble picking a front runner for the length of the show, although when it was just couples early on I consistently enjoyed Randi and Evan the best. However, when the judges said that Jeanine "peaked at the right time" I think they were spot on. If the finale had been two weeks ago I doubt she would have won, but her dancing on the last few shows has just blown everyone out of the water. It was such a surprise that she turned out so well, but I am 100% behind it. On the basis of the whole season, she was my pick for the winner too.
I didn't think that Kayla consistently showed enough personality to really grab everyone's hearts, although she is probably the most technically gifted. Evan is a cutie pie but obviously not the most talented. I thought either Brandon or Jeanine deserved the win. But after three guy favorite dancers and only 1 girl it was nice to see another girl up there too!
I think she's a good dancer and she did "peak at the right time". She looked some much better then Evan and Kayla Wed. night. I wish Brandon had won, because I think he is fantastic and is the best dancer on the show, but I'm happy with J too. They'll both have good careers. After Jeanine won, as Brandon was walking off the stage my husband said "He's probably going to book a job right now" Hope so!
I wish they would have given him a retrospective like the did the other two losers. That wasn't fair. Also, what was UP with the wide camera shots in the middle of all the dances? It's called So You Think You Can Dance, not So You Want To See A Wideshot Of The Kodak Theatre. Grrrrr.
I completely was in full awe of Jeanine! As a former dancer I know what it takes and she is amazing. I agree I think they needed to give Brandon his own little "lets take a look" moment but at the same time think of like Miss America--the runner up sort of gets booted off stage too!
I think all of the last 4 were good in their own way. Evan while adorable I do not think that he was one of the best 4 but you also have to keep in mind its not America's Best dancer, but America's Favorite.
I cant wait for September 2nd for the Fall Season!!!
i love Jeanine!!! actually, i loved all 4. i had hopes that Brandon would win it, but honestly it was deserving to any one of them.
i can't wait till Sept. too! all i can say is Mia Michaels "addiction" piece was even more powerful the second time seeing it. This was a great season, with amazing technical dancers.!
I am thrilled that Jeanine won. I thought brandon was good, not great, but his personality got on my nerves so bad... and I loved Kayla but she was lacking in personality even though she was incredible. Well for me, that left Evan and Jeanine, I loved both, but Jeanine was way better than Evan... when you're a male dancer it's easy to get overshadowed by the girl who is usually flashier in a dance... so you have to rise to the occasion and he just didn't do that for me. I think Jeanine was the best all around dancer.
I loved Jeanine!! She was one of my favorites from the beginning. Evan was adorable, but I didn't feel he really belonged in the final four. I really liked Kayla, but felt she fizzled a bit towards the end. I also really liked Brandon. He made everyone he danced with seem better somehow.
I agree with the peaking at the right time. I think Jeanine won the show in the last two episodes. Prior to that, she didn't really stand out. But then, when the judges did all their favorite dances from the season, she was in a lot of them and I remember thinking "she was pretty good right from the beginning!" (loved the dance she did with Phillip to that Ne-Yo song). I would have been happy had Brandon won, too. But Jeanine was just so darn cute!
I loved the one where her blue dress got ripped, that one was really good!
I loved the miami girl too, but her name escapes me right now, I remember thinking "THEY ELIMINATED HER and not MELISSA?!?" I really didn't like Melissa, and thought she was way overrated. Then she did the cancer routine (Tyce) and everyone loved her again, but I don't think it was because of her dancing, I think it was just the subject matter.
Then again... that's just my opinion, and you know what they say about opinions... :)

I love Evan, but am glad he didn't win. I didn't want a repeat of Benji winning (when Travis Wall SHOULD have). I voted for Jeanine. My dad (yep, my dad and I watch it together, even though we live in different sates, we text after each number) and I came up with this: Kayla and Brandon are incredible. Their technique is outstanding. But Jeanine has the personality and "IT" factor.

What's everyone's opinion about Jeanine winning? I am surprised. Not that she's not a fabulous dancer, I'm just surprised.
