Hm. So I'm 8 days out and I'm thinking I've pretty much run out of things to do. I'm exchanging some candles today. Getting my ring. I have to drop two things off to my florist. Annnnnnnd that's it. Ummmmm so..... what now? Have I forgotten anything?!

Schedule for the day-of (printed for everyone)? Assignments for everyone on the day-of. I used theknot's checklist - it's pretty good. Relax and enjoy!

definitely a day-of schedule.  I'm also wanting a "where is everyone" schedule that states where anyone helping is going to be at a specific time (So I can't be like, WHERES MEGAN?? )

I am 15 days out with planning for my sister's wedding. I still have to

-print out the programs (they are mostly designed..just waiting on final song selections)

-create the day of the wedding schedule

-make a "must have" list of wedding pictures for the photographer

-pick up some last minute odds and ends for the ceremony (wire, hooks, etc)

-put the finishing touches on the "how to" document I created for the reception layout. We will be taking pics while the ceremony area is being flipped for the reception so I want to make sure everything is placed how it should be.

Payments - I am so paranoid about this because I hate owing people money. I will have envelopes marked for each vendor with their full payments and a separate envelope for tips. My MOH will be handling the vendors on day-of so she will also get specific instructions for who gets what.

P.S. By the way, good job on getting done so early!!! It's getting sooo close =)

@bakerella: We still need to get a final contract from our caterer - I've emailed them three times. I also need to finish the day-of timeline, make the mani/pedi appointment for the wedding party women, get all of the stuff together for the OOT bags, and write my vows. Oh, and I need to make sure my fiance actually picks up my ring from the jeweler.

@Ladyoak: Out of Town bags for visting guests. I thought about doing them but I skipped it since we don't have many people coming in. It's not a necessary accessory to the wedding :)

Day of schedule is pretty much done, we're just finalizing the last few items and then I'll print it. I'm going to finish packing everything up into giant rubbermaid totes over the next few days to get transported up to site and that should be it. Yay!!! We did the kids rehearsal today. Oh man. Maybe we should have left them out... Ugh.

If you haven't done so already, call all your vendors to confirm arrival times and details.

Man, I envy you.  I feel like a chicken with my head cut off.  I have out of towners coming in Thursday already.  We have to practice our first dance.  Still have to find ring bearer pillow, coin bag and a flower for my sash.  Have to pack up my overnight bag not to mention go shopping for vacation stuff since we are leaving on Monday for the honeymoon and will be busy with OOT guests until Sunday night.  I still don't have a rehearsal dinner dress or a clutch for the wedding day.  I also have to return a bunch of stuff that I ordered online and do a couple loads of laundry, pick up my gifts from my bach party at a friend's house.  I don't know how people work the week of their wedding!  I'm stressed and I'm off the whole week.  Oh, not to mention run/elliptical like crazy so I minimize the backfat and armfat for the big day

@bakerella: Good for you for getting everything done! I was running around and exhausted the three days before my wedding (plus I had to do all the flowers on Friday-eek).

Good luck this weekend!! :) Can't wait to see pics!
