@pyma: I got that call too (I’m in Canada). They wouldn’t tell me how they got my info, so I called the guy that ran the Wedding Expo I attended and he had no idea either. One of the vendors clearly sold my info to Table Charm.

For attending their seminar, you get a gift certificate for wedding rings, aprons and so on or you can choose three nights’ stay at a number of resorts or hotels, no airfare included.

I got invited for this weekend, I’m still not sure if I’m going, though I googled them and their cookware is 2600 per set. Yikes!

Did you get your dress at David’s? Table Charms got my info too, and my dress is the only thing I’ve gotten, havent gone to a bridal show or anything yet. I heard that those things are scams anyways. You have to go sit for like, 2 hours listening to them hawk their super expensive stuff. Its a high pressure sales tactic. I just told them I wasnt interested. The girl got really angry that I said no :-/

@missapis: Yeah i still haven’t figured out how they got my info. They asked if I wanted to give my email address and I said no, yet yesterday I got an email from them confirming my attendance. I emailed them back and told them I wouldn’t be there.

One google check confirms they are less than legit.
