So my colors are emerald, gold, and blush…but my version of emerald is different than a lot of people’s. This is my version:
that’s the color of my bridesmaid dresses (that’s not the actual dress, though)
anyway—so I’m thinking either an emerald table cloth over the round tables and then a gold vase with some blush flowers
should i keep the ivory table linen and just do an emerald table runner with a gold vase and blush flowers?
the chairs are black.
thanks for your opinions!!

@lauraashley09: I’m attempting to make the same type of decision this week – brown table clothes, or ivory with a brown table runner – why must this be so complicated? I LOVE the emerald though and think it would look really classy with an emerald table cloth with gold center piece.

@happyheidi1984: Ohh that is difficult!! What if you did brown table cloth with ivory table runner? (not sure what the other colors are) I think the brown table cloth would be dramatic!
Thanks!! Most people I’ve talked to hate my colors 🙁

@lauraashley09: I would not do emerald cloths. I would want my BM’s to stand out, not be part of the decor.
I would do champagne cloths with an emerld runner. Ivory can have such an unattractive undertone.

@lauraashley09: Our colours are brown, tan and pinks. Originally we were going to do the burlap table runners, but I’ve been to a few too many weddings with that so it was back to the drawing board!
PP makes a good point of it maybe being a bad idea to have the table cloths be the same as the bridesmaids – what about gold or blush table clothes?

Thanks guys! I didn’t think about having my bridesmaids stand out!

I think ivory with a green runner would look amazing!

I’d go with the lighter table option and the darker runner (either Ivory or Gold if you can get it, with the emerald runner).

Personally, I’m the type of bride/person who likes things to be different. If you chairs are black, I would do the emerald green cloths with gold vases and blush flowers 1) because its different and 2) the black and green would pop. If you want something more subtle than go with the ivory table linen and just do an emerald table runner with a gold vase and blush flowers.
I’m probably a lil bias to my answer because I’m doing black chairs, teal table cloth with black napkins with white dishes and accents of white throughout the reception. Most peope around where I live use white/ivory linens with an accent colour or do black chair covers with black table cloth and an accent colour. Whatever you choose to do I’m sure it will turn out amazing!
