Pinterest & here have been amazing sources of inspiration for me….another one I’d seen on WeddingBee was a great centerpiece using photo frames & vellum printed photos.
The original idea was done as a triangle shape, which I found to be a bit tricky holding together glue wise, so I’ve adapted it to use 4 frames in either a more square or rectangle design, depending on how you position your frames.
I’ve done one up as a mock up (see above photo) using a battery votive inside, and will be doing one this coming weekend as a Mother’s Day gift for my MIL. I’ve also asked all our relatives for wedding photos, so each couple that will be there as guests will have a photo of themselves on their Wedding Day as part of our decorations.
For our cake table, we’re having photos of our Grandparents on either side of the cake….just as a nice touch seeing as I’ve only got one Gran still with us.
Had thought of using little hinges if we wanted to do the triangles. Might have to attack our local hardware store and hunt down there for a change….should make H2B a little happier…hehehe
