I really need some help. I just found out two weeks before my wedding the standard polyester purple linens that my venue told me would be used for the table cloths only come in napkins and they only use white for the table clothes. They completely misled me not sure if it was on purpose or just a miscommunication on their part because I have the email that says they are standard Ahh, sorry for the rant.
Anyway, I had planned everything around this idea and now I do not know what to do. Luckily, I still have time to order linens but I have to decide in the next day to get them here on time. The problem is I have no idea what the right look will be. I also have exhausted much of my budget so I cannot go crazy on buying linens.
My colors are purple and silver. I have ten tables including the bride and grooms table, I do not have any bridesmaids or groomsman. The wedding will be a small group of my closest friends and family around 75. I will have a mix of three types of centerpieces calla lilies submerged in tall cylinder vases, purple bottles with individual flowers, and a large silver candle stick with flowers with a large flower arrangement on top of it. I will also have very small crystal chandeliers hanging from the wooden beams with purple ribbon.
Here are my options as I see it:
I can do the standard white table clothes because it’s free and they will provide purple polyester napkins. Then I can do a purple pin tuck table runner and either do purple or silver chair sashes, or even no chair sashes.
I can also do the white table clothes with silver organza overlays and then a purple satin pin tuck table runner. Again chair sashes or no chair sashes?
Finally, I can splurge on pin tuck table clothes and skip the chair sashes.
Please help. My mind is racing with all my last minute details and I have no idea what are the best options. Any opinions on pin tuck or just plain satin, chair sashes or no chair sashes, or any other thoughts are very much appreciated. I want it to look elegant with my colors represented but of course I do not want it to look overdone. I will post some pictures below of my venue with colored satin linens and a more simple linen option. Also, My venue overlooks Lake Tahoe so I also do not want to distract from the view.
Thank you for your help
