My dilemma is about table linens! Is it weird to have them not touch the floor? Or will it look better and classy to have it go all the way down as opposed to 2/3 of the way down?
The size of the tables at my reception is the 6 feet round tables that can fit 10 people. I was thinking of purchasing the 120 inch table cloth, will this be too short?
ALSO, is it best to just buy all of them and attempt to resell or deal with the extra cost and rent?
Thanks a bunch!

a 120″ tablecloth will not drop to the floor on a 72″ table (6 feet is 72″). to hit the floor on a 72″ table, you’d need a 132″ tablecloth.
a 120″ tablecloth will fall to the floor on a 60″ table, though.

My personal preference is to have them floor length.. I think it looks waaaaaaaayyyyy better. In fact I had a nightmare that i walked into my reception and all of the tablecloths were shorties…it was a terrible dream haha!
As far as rent vs buy, it probably depends on what you’re looking for. You can buy a 120 round white tablecloth on amazon for 12 bucks. Something more unique is going to be harder to find on the cheap.

I agree about floor length. The legs of most rental tables are ugly and I would definitely want them covered up.

@kmb727: haha yeah i figured that much. my FI said if it doesn’t touch the floor, it shouldn’t be that bad but i thought it was best to get other opinions that knew a bit more! ;P
