@RobinL:  I wish I knew of a place where linens where less than $10. I am purchasing mine (its cheaper) and will resell them after the wedding. That way, I atleast get some of my money back.

Have you checked on the classifieds here or on Craigslist?  I’ve seen a bunch of posts on CL around here for linens that were used once and are now being sold.

we did both… we are renting plain white table cloths from our venue for $4 each and then I bought yellow organza overlays for $3 each… I couldn’t find anyone willing to rent yellow table cloths so this was our best option…

check out linetablecloths.com – that is where I got mine… they have decent sales, free shipping over $50, and a clearance section

Check Craigslist, Ebay and http://www.recycledbride.com. Linens can definitely be use dmore than once- or even twice!

You can check all craigslist sites at the same time by going to   http://www.google.com

enter       site:craigslist.org

then add what you are looking for   e.g. pintuck overlays

Here are the results for that search

In most cases, definitely cheaper to just buy (and possibly try to sell after the wedding).

I don’t know what size or color(s) you want, but as long as you’re looking for basics, I also suggest linentablecloth.com. Have placed multiple orders and very satisfied thus far.

tableclothsfactory.com or wedding-linens.com

The only reason I am renting is because I do not want the added stress of having to find someone to make them look perfect. My lady doesn’t add a set up / tear down fee and it really isn’t much more than buying them myself. If you know someone that will iron them, set them up for you, and make them look awesome then I say for sure buy them! You can always resell them and make back most of the money!

LNT.com (Linen’s & Things) has then for $7.05!

I was going to rent mine but the cheapest place I found to rent them was charging $8.99 each. So I decided to buy them for $7.05 each and then like someone else said, I’m planning on selling them afterwards 🙂

We bought (and continue to buy) our linens from tableclothsfactory.com. Very happy with the prices, quality, and they’re true to color.

What exactly are you needing? Size, round/banquet?
