I have been kinda stressed lately about all that’s left to do for the wedding (I am literally DIYing everything, pretty much by myself except for my fiance doing all the beer brewing and wine making. Also, we are moving to a new city 2 days after the wedding and are trying to get our new home ready to move into…). Tonight I finally finished the table runners though, and did a little table mock up, and now i am less stressed and really excited!
My dining room table is shorter and wider than the reception tables will be (this is a mock up of the sweetheart table which will be 6′ long and 30″ wide, so the edge of the runner that the plates are on will be flush with the table, and there will be 1 foot of the tablecloth underneath exposed on either end). There will be a floor-length white tablecloth under the runner, and white chair covers. There will be WAY more flowers – several multiple smallish vases and bud vases per table filled with dark yellow, golden orange, burgundy/plum, and magenta flowers and greenery/grasses. In this mockup I just have papertowel for napkins, but at the wedding the napkins will be white linen. I need to tweak the ‘&’ a little bit, it’s crooked, but I have to get more heavy-duty thread tomorrow first.
What do you think???

@ferdie224: Honestly, I love the simplicity of it. Are you going to have the Chevron tablecloth and all? And you’re brewing your own?? Can I come??? 🙂

So pretty!! I am crazy about the moss-covered table number–amazing! The wine bottle and label is gorgeous, and the candleholders (mercury glass??) are really pretty.
Also, our initials are M & A too! MA or AM, lol.
The only thing that I might tweak is the candleholders out towards the corners of the table. If there are things with varying heights in that area, it would be great, but if you’re JUST going to have candleholders, I don’t think it looks quite right. I might move them to the middle?

Very pretty – but the letters are weighing down the tablecloth?

@AirForceWife78: the tablecloth underneath will be floor-length white. The chevron table runner will be on the head table like this, and on all the other tables going lengthwise.
Also, my fiance is a FABULOUS brewer! Our beers are smokey wee heavy that is literally my favorite ever, a tangerine ipa, a sour cherry ale, and a spottle cow clone for our lighter beer 🙂
@howsweetitis: yeah, the candle holders will be scattered more in the middle and there will be more vases/bud vases of varying heights throughout. Good advice though! I only had 1 flower in the house right now
