I've seen some on Amazon but that Michael's deal sounds like a steal!
Another alternative is to get some 20 gauge wire and twist them urself. Secure it onto ur centerpeice, a set of winecorks, stone, pine cone, or whatever strikes ur fancy.
@ pren79 Great idea! We're doing floral centerpieces, so that would definitely be cheapest, and maybe even easiest. Looks like the holders on Amazon are about $4 each, in case anyone wondered. Thanks, ladies!
Ask your caterer or venue. Most venues have them and will let you use them free of charge. They are called table number stands :)
i rented them from a party supply store for $40 for 20 of them and they even supplied the numbers. I just had to pick them up and return them.
sorry- not a party supply store....it was a rental company. like the kind that rents the chiavari chairs or tents and tables and linens for your wedding or party. Seriously, that was cheaper than buying them because to buy them would have been $200 ...and really, what was I going to do with those things AFTER the wedding.
We are using pretty frames that I found at the dollar store. They had lots of silver and gold frames that could have worked, but I purchased some which I painted our wedding colors.
i was thinking of using the table number stands too, thanks for reminding me i can ask my venue to see if they may have any!
I was at a restaurant supply store yesterday (Surfas in Culver City, CA) and saw them for $10 for a dozen. Seems like a good deal to me. I'd guess that there are restaurant supply stores online that sell the stands.
Try Party City or Michaels.

the Tolsy frame form IKEA is just 99 cents and double side... and easy to paint if you want them in a color besides white... I and using these and spraying them black....

Hope this isn't a dumb question... But where do you (for a good price) find those little metal stands that hold the table numbers in so many wedding reception pics I see. Frames are working out to be too pricy, so I'm hopeful someone knows the hookup for those little metal babies, or wants to sell me a dozen of theirs after their wedding. I just want the plain ones - no pears or chairs or hearts or whatnot. Help, hive! :-)
