I think it depends on how high you want them to be. The easiest and probably cheapest solution (if you don't mind them not being extremely high) is to take a piece of cardstock slightly larger than twice the size of the photo, fold it in half and paste/attach the photo onto one side. Hopefully that helps.
Too bad I couldn't see the picture, but you have a lot of options, especially since you only have 7 tables. You can use frames, either all different or all the same to display your photos/table assignments. I'm not sure where you live, but a few good places to go are like Ross, or T.J. Maxx/Homegoods. Places like that you can find really beautiful frames for discounted prices. Or, you can attach them to cardstock as someone else suggested, and set them on easels. Michaels sells them (wood, iron, or plastic), and you can also find decorative ones at http://www.save-on-crafts.com/tableeasel.html.
Ohh, how cute he is! It's almost as if he's posing....
You would definately want to display these in a nice way.
Adorable! I was thinking of doing something similar...but yeah, not sure how to display them.
What about just simple black or silver frames? I was thinking of buying antique-looking gold frames, and there are wholesale lots on ebay for cheap! Or you could do one of those antique wire postcard stands that Miss Lovebug had blogged about...

I finished taking pictures in Central Park this weekend for my table numbers, and now I have 7 awesome black and white photos of my table numbers. Problem is, I don't know what to do with them!
How should I display my table numbers? Picture frames, those restaurant metal holder things, white mats? Anybody know of inexpensive solutions?
I can't resist showing you one of the photos. My dog Frank is the star of all 7 of them, and they were taken in different parts of the park.
