i like the cardstock background idea you have... maybe mix in another background design to vary the table numbers alittle? what kind of frames were you thinking of?
maybe go white like Miss Pudding is doing? i think these look so cute:)

You could try Michael's, or the dollar store, maybe... You could spray paint them if you want them to all match.
In Miss Pudding's post, she said she found the frames in the $1 bin at Michaels.
then she spray painted them white :
I'd definitely check out your local michaels or hobby lobby for frames... try even walmart!
I found these on their website. They aren't as ornate as the ones above but you could still paint them white and would work great i bet!

@prair I like that idea!
You could also come up with different names for your tables instead of numbers for something fun to do. For example interests you and the groom are into. Or like an other example mythical creatures, colors, or gemstones. just a thought :)
@mandapanda thanks :) I actually thought about doing this with our fav TV shows...but I don't think a lot of our guests (read: family/older folk) would "get it" :X
@manda...any other suggestions? I'm so lost...or any other cute, ornate white or brown frames @krissy? Maybe I'll head to Michaels or the Dollar Tree tomorrow
put a little "game" to it. For example it you set seating have then find the table name instead of number, or if it is a free will seating tell your guest to have fun with the seating go with something that makes them laugh or reminds you of "us" maybe that will help...
I like the idea of having something in addition to numbers....but I'm not sure what. FH and I haven't been enough places yet together so that idea is out :(
yeah we're really gorgeous white elegant frames for our table numbers! i think frames look the best. are you going with any patterns? like our wedding theme in pink black and off white with patterns of damask. so the background for the table names(not doing numbers) will be damask..the colors will be alternating.
@busybride that is so cute!!! our theme line is "true love" and we have love bird accents certain places (cake topper, on OOT bag tags, etc) and I would LOVE to find some pretty frames...
where are you looking for yours? or did you get them?

I really need to make my table numbers. I want to do something that will match my theme but is easy and not terribly expensive. I like the idea of using picture frames but don't know what to do beyond that. I was thinking about doing cool cardstock backgrounds but how should I put the numbers on them to make them pop? My colors are purples (lilac, lavender) and browns (lattes, chocolates) with touches of greens and whites....
ahhh
I need some ideas, inspriations, suggestions...
anything!
