I really like how the runner ties all of your elements together, and if it’s in your budget, I’d do it. IMO, the runners don’t need to go all the way to the floor, but I think they should go over the edges of the table, and there should be at least some runner hanging down. I think the satin and poyester will look fine together if the runners are long enough.

I vote with the chocolate runner, I like the color it adds. But, I just noticed that you don’t really see the stones on the runner..hmm

I vote for a different colored runner because you cant see the stones at all.. but I like the idea of a runner, just not that color

Now that I look at it more closely, I agree with not being able to see the stones. However, I think you could change that by just using different colored stones or the glass marble things just for the ones that are directly on the runner. The ones that are in the vase look fine.

I still love the look of a runner on a long table and I think they’ll be relatively easy and economical to make. But it would look much more elegant if they extend past the edge of the table.

I think the table runner really ties in the colors and makes the whole arrangement look richer.  They would best if there were a little longer though.  Very pretty!  If you are worried about seing the stones, you could also do a lighter runner (maybe a burlap) or maybe lighter brown stones?

I agree with going with the runner and changing the color of the stones.
