I love love our wedding venue. The only “mishap” I’ve had is the realization that they only provide white or ivory tale linens (I thought there were other options). No biggie – we’ve decided that for our lavender and gray wedding we want gray tablecloths with white lace runners.
We are using rectangular tables–problem is, the tables that fit 10 comfortably are 6 inches wider than the standard talecloth. My solution is to buy standard sized gray tablecloths, layer them on top of the white custom tablecloths provided by the venue, and then use our white lace runners…. BUT of course that will mean about 3 inches of white table cloth showing at the bottom of each table underneath the gray ones I will buy.
I *think* it will be fine… I don’t think anyone will really notice 3 inches of white along the floor, and even if they did, it will still match our runners. But I’m looking for others’ input. Any thoughts? Thanks!
