Hey Girls! I am stressing so much over this that I decided to write my first post to get some opinions/help!
Our reception is in a country setting and the room has a cozy feel to it. The flowers are fall colors, red and orange, mostly roses, carnations, those berry things (i know they have a fancy name), mums, chrysanthemums. For the centerpieces, we’re going with a wreath of flowers around a bowl-shaped vase with floating candles. there will be a lot of candles- so the overall theme is cozy elegance. It will be an 8 PM reception on a Saturday.
The reception hall has plenty of napkin colors to choose from, think red/black/white. The only tablecloth colors are white, black, or lavender!
So: is black too black? will white take away from that romantic elegance? do i really want to spend money on renting/buying linens? If I bought my own linens: copper or red? Or do you guys think the black would look nice? and what napkin to do with any of these colors?
I’ve been trying to find pictures online of black linens with red & orange flowers to see, and i really can’t find any. So any pictures you can find or opinions you can share would be great.
