Neither. I think it's really cool to DIY. I don't believe in tacky, and it's only trendy if you do all the trendy details. It can be whatever you want it to be :)

Neither. I think it's great if you're capable of DIYing a lot of your wedding.
i think it depends what you're doing and how you doing it. you can easily diy and make it tacky, but you can just as easily have an amazing diy wedding.
I'm jealous of all you DIY brides. There is not a single crafty bone in me and seriously, other than macaroni art, I got nothing.
I don't think its tacky nor a trend. Some people HAVE to DIY because that is what they can afford...its not a trend for them. It could look great, or not. It is what it is.
I am DIY my ENTIRE wedding! anyone have any advise? I am getting married in June and the closer it gets the more nervous I am bc i have no..i mean..no creativity but i am extremly frugal and deeply want to keep my wedding budget under $3000 with 70 guests...

just dont make your wedding an arts and crafts project. if it starts to get that way you need to back up and take a look. :)

I said who cares it's your wedding :D.. a friend of mine spent about 80 or so on her wedding and did tons of diy and it was EXQUISITE!! i still am inspired by her wedding lol and that was three years ago! i definitely think that if you can do it and do it professionally well go for it!!

Whole wedding DIY except Dj and food. I am doing appitizers and Drinks but the other stuff is DIY. I love doing DIY and I am just wondering if you guys think its tacky or Trendy
