If you want to make tags yourself you can go and get already cut tags with a reinforcement on them at a craft store. They are usually in the card section. You could attach it to the jar by tying it around the jar with ribbon, twine, leather, or a combination of strings. You can hand print the label with a fancy marker, or you could print labels and attach it to the tags. I love stuff like this, haha.

I reccommended these the other day to another bee.  We used them as tags for our homebrew beer favors.

They’re called clean edge cards.  Multiple tags to a page, and they just come right off.  They are totally clean edged with no perferation whatsoever.  They were amazing, and turned out really well.  They have a .doc or .pdf template that you can use to line up your text, and I printed them at home.
