Help us decide
Help us decide
I’m biased because we’re going to Moorea and Bora Bora for our Honeymoon…so I say Tahiti! 🙂
Although…I do absolutely love italy as well. Damn! tough choice…
Tough choice!! Jeez. WELL, just look at it logically. You can do the other as a future anniversary trip. So there’s that. And Tahiti will be relaxing, while I imagine Italy will be jam-packed with sightseeing.
What do you think you’d rather be doing? Both would/will be amazing trips.
I, personally, love the idea of Tahiti. I know we will want to relax and just be together after the craziness of weddings.. And the picture, as I’m a very visual person, has me wanting to go there, like, yesterday. 😉
One, is a MUCH longer flight. That helps to choose sometimes.
i would choose italy because its a entirely different culture – tahiti is beautiful but the resorts are full of fellow toursits and honeymooners and you rarely get to experience the true local tahiti culture because its a tourist town/industry
As much as I’d love to go to Italy, I think I’d choose Tahiti. I think the relaxation and beauty would be perfect with your honey!
I think it really depends on what you want for wedding. Are you wanting beautiful beaches and relaxation then choose Tahiti. If you want sightseeing and to experience culture then go to Italy.
Tahiti!!! I went to Italy with my FH this summer, it was nice..although I have to say, if you are going to Europe, visit Spain, its absolutely AMAZING.
Tahiti is my dream vacation. I’m fairly certain we’ll never make it over there, but I’d looooove to go. So, that gets my pick 🙂
I would do Italy… but not for a honeymoon.
Do you get the chance to go on an long out of country vacation very often? If so, I’d vote save Italy for later since Tahiti would be a beautiful honeymoon spot. If not, I’d pick Italy.
I was originally thinking of Italy for a honeymoon also since I’ve been wanting to go there for years, but we decided St John would be a better honeymoon spot and pushed Italy out a few months.
Italy is beautiful, but like others have said, you won’t be relaxing, it will be packed with SIGHTSEEING! I love Italy, but unless you plan to stay in a certain area then save it for another time! We were there for 10 days and it didn’t feel like much of a vacation, when we got home we had 2 days off still and we wanted to stay in and do nothing to relax from our vacation!
Tahiti will be a nice romantic getaway for the 2 of you! Its on my list of places to go, and I have heard nothing but wonderful things!
Tahiti all the way! We were deciding between Greece and Tahiti and we finally booked Tahiti. Have you priced out Italy yet? Greece was not that much cheaper than Tahiti (but we would be going in August which I was told is insanely expensive). I think you are much more likely to go to Italy at some point in the future! Although the food alone would make me go back to Italy in a heartbeat!
BOTH! 🙂 I can’t choose one, too tough, sorry!
Tahiti…I’m dying to get there and do it in one of those huts over the water
Do Italy for 1 year or 5 year anniversary.
