just popping in quickly to say that my partner proposed to me on a deck at the river on Sunday afternoon, it was a beautiful sunny day here – we were walking our dogs and enjoying the beautifyl view and watching the ducks swim and fight over bread (very cute ps).
We stopped our walk to let one of the dogs have a rest and decided to sit on this tiny deck right on the water, which was surrounded by ducks. It was such a pieceful moment and we were simply taking in the nice view and having odd conversation, then all of a sudden I turn around and he is on one knee (sort of there wasnt much room because we were both sitting down and the dogs were at our feet all tangled in their leads) asking me to marry him! He caught me 100% off guard – beause bees I have the flu, an infection, massive amounts of homework due and a hairdresser just dyed my hair orange in stead of blonde!! so no way did I expect a proposal. Turns out he picked up the ring the day before (I knew it was ready) and just couldnt wait to give it to me – He wasnt meant to do it until after my exams in a month!
So only a few short months after feeding him engagement chicken – I have our ring on my finger and am feeling like on very lucky girl!!

@littlemissbossy: Yay! Congrats. That is a lovely ring. 🙂 🙂 It’s sweet that he proposed even when you weren’t feeling your best; I suppose that helped lift your spirits, huh?
I’m going to have to Google “engagement chicken” now because I’ve never heard of that before lol.
