So I have a co-worker’s bridal shower next week to attend. I’m going to arrange it so that Mr. C comes with me to pick up the gift. I mean, what says “Hurry up and propose already!!” than picking out vases at Pottery Barn for another engaged couple? LOL…..

My SO is often fond of pointing out that men just don’t get subtlety–their idea of subtle is a sledge-hammer!

Our good friends were engaged in January and I am the Maid/Matron of Honor —- I am always saying “Oh;… so and so just picked their venue …. oh ! so and so are going cake tasting!” ahahah I am sure it drives him nuts 🙂

Devil’s advocate here… not all guys are into the registry/wedding stuff. If he’s one of those, then he might want to stay further way from all the bridal hysteria.

Obviously, I don’t know your guy or how well he responds to situational hints…but, I have to agree with inspiredcreationsbyhaley. We see a bridal shower and think, “It’s about time we get engaged.” A guy sees a bridal shower and thinks, “It’s a bridal shower.” Unless you use it as a reason to talk about your own goals or progress there’s a really good chance he won’t think of it as anything other than just an errand.
