Weddingbee boards

Hi Bees!! Had to share my goodnews. If anyone has followed my waiting, you will know that my FI (OMG FI!) has been "proposing" almost every day with a rachet, as a joke.

Well, this morning we woke up and opened all of our presents. I was slightly disappointed he hadn't bought me a card, and also slightly sad that he hadn't given me the ring he said he would. Just as I started packing up he said he had one more thing and handed me a card. I smiled and was happy he remembered. When I opened it up it was a long and thoughtful card (not his typical choice!) with the definition of true love written inside in his hand. It also said "part 1 of 3" and told me to go find something by "your biggest acomplishment". I know he thought of my diploma's as such and ran off!

When I got to the office I noticed a new frame on the wall with an envelope inside. I opened the frame and read it where I was (as the envelope said). It was another beautiful card, and this one said that he wanted to prove his love every day for me, along with some other sweetness. At the end it said "Come find me... Love like...."

I ran (literally) back to him and he was playing "our song" (Love Like Crazy) with the word "Crazy for sunshine" (he calls me sunshine) written across his shirt. I said, "now what?" and he opened his hand and the rachet was inside. I laughed, nervously, and he picked up the rachet and the most beautiful ring was inside (bigger and much more decadent than I had picked out, but still with the same features I loved from the styles I showed him). So of course I start crying and he gets on one knee and he is crying and I don't even remember exactly what he said besides something followed by "Will you marry me?".

Absolutely amazing proposal! He later told me about telling my parents and his parents and we got to share the news during Christmas with all our relatives. I don't have any amazing pictures yet, but I will include some ring porn for those who want to see it!

Sorry it's so big! It is an eternity ring. The centre stone is 0.38 with 0.2 sides an 0.1 channel inset (three on each side) in size 7 with 14k gold. The inside is engraved "past present future" with 0.1 diamonds inset between each word.

It was hard (VERY HARD) to get a pic of the inside, so this was the best I could do. This part says "present future" with past on the other side. He didn't choose to put this in the ring (he wanted Love Like Crazy) but it was already part of the ring. His only request after getting engaged was if we could put Love Like Crazy in our bands. SO CUTE :)
