Just like the book Taking Charge of Your Fertility, I have been contemplating an idea of taking this to the next level, something along the lines of loving our bodies and taking charge of them. I see many bees writing posts saying how their bodies are broken, not ovulating or just having crazy cycles.
That’s the root of this thread, I myself had a crazy long cycle not too long ago. As a way to forget about my cycle craziness, I decided to start taking BC again. After charting for several months previous to this long cycle, I told myself, “this is not how I should treat my body”. Instead I need to look for ways to help it and love it. So, I started experimenting with different supplements and sort of making my own schedule, keeping a diary of symptoms, etc. I keep reminding my body that I trust and love it. So far so good. I have been through two cycles, more or less regular and the most important thing, I have predicted and confirmed ovulation. I am not TTC, and I can see why someone TTCing might be having some crazy cycles, but I believe nonetheless, the body should be cared for and loved it even during TTC and even more.
If you would like to join me in sharing information, helping and supporting each other during difficult days (cycles) where fertility may be questionable, etc, this is the place for you. The information shared here is not to substitute medical advice and in all cases you should talk to your doctor before trying any of the recommended supplements.
