Is there a customer service e-mail for either place? I would just e-mail them and ask them to remove your registry completely. Should be pretty easy from their end.
Can you post a link to Mary Jane's post on privacy? I'm kinda interested, I didnt know there was a privacy issue when it came to registries. I guess I'm just looking for background info.
Just call Crate and Barrel. I got rid of my registry from there because I decided I didn't want it and just called them to tell them to take it down and they did. It also went off the wedding channel website right away. good luck!
I would suggest calling Crate and Barrel - I know they can delete registries, and if they delete it completely, there would be no way for Wedding Channel to pull the information.
go online and remove all of your gifts from them, then call the stores. you may have to speak to a manager. my friend had to call nieman marcus 3 times before they finally took hers down. be persistent.

I'm ready to remove my registries. I'm not expecting any more gifts, there's only a handful of items left, and especially after MaryJane's post on privacy, I just want to take them down.
I've managed to do this at Macy's by choosing the option for "I'm not ready for anyone to see this!" but I can't figure out how to take down my listing on WeddingChannel.com --- any advice? I didn't create a website with them, but it's still showing my C&B registry. At the Crate & Barrel website I made the choice not to show my registry online with them.
I think the only way anyone can find me now is by going into a C&B store or off WeddingChannel.
Anybody know how to do this?
