I’m lucky enough to have access to urine specimen cups at work, but I heard someone describe once how they peed a little bit into the metallic wrapper and then just wrapped it up in a wad of paper towels to throw away.

@IAmTheShadow:  I noticed the wondfo’s require that, so I bought a different brand that says to use FMU instead. I think the Wondfo instructions also said to use room temp urine as well so I was like…okay…I’m supposed to pee at work and then leave it sitting on my desk for a while!? No thanks. I’m going to use ClearBlue advanced ovulation tests next month if I’m out this month.

@IAmTheShadow:  I use wondfos too – but the directions on mine said you can use any urine at any time of the day.  I’ve been using second morning urine at home for the OPKs.  When the lines get darker – I just test when I get home from work. There’s no way I could get away with testing at work!

@IAmTheShadow:  is there anywhere in the bathroom to stash some cups?

I would always test in the am and right when I got home at 5.  Worked just fine that way.

I used to use FMU and then test again when I got out of work at 4. Worked perfectly fine.

I used the wrapper.. just split it half way down one side, peed a bit into it, dipped the wondfo and then layed the wondfo on the back of the toilet for a minute or two so i could read the results. I’d then put the wondfo back in the wrapper (dump the pee, obviously lol), wrap with TP and dispose! Sometimes it was a bit messy, but eventually it became really easy! Much easier than sneaking a cup in every time. If you have a cabinet or something in the washroom that you can store stuff in, you could put a small plastic cup (or the dollar store small dixie cups) in a make up bag with a few other things and just use those when you need them 🙂

Good luck!

Oh.. I would also test with FMU and then at 2pm. I NEVER got a positive with FMU or any other time than around 2pm … I missed my surge a few months by testing FMU and then after work, very short surge I guess so I really had to test mid day or I would have missed it! Depends on the person/how long the surge is. 🙂

@StaceyA:  I did this too.

I always used the big stall so I could wash my hands right after. Works out fine so far!

What about the little medicine cup that comes with cold medicine? Wh ahev so many around the house I’ve designated one for my pee-cup. It works fine. They’re small enough to put in pocket or purse. I don’t think anyone would think twice about taking a purse into the bathroom, and if not, the little medicine cup is easy to palm or pocket.

@IAmTheShadow:  I use the little cough medicine cups that come with the bottles. Sometimes I sneak it and a test in my pocket or up a sleeve, sometimes I bring my purse in the bathroom.  There is a one stall bathroom at my work so I am able to wash it immediately. I don’t think anyone notices.
