@YQMbride: I actually really really love the first one.  It perhaps has more going for it with the corset back and I certainly think it has the WOW factor.  I would choose dress one πŸ™‚

I’m a sucker for a sweetheart neckline and ruching.  #2 gets my vote! πŸ™‚ Both are gorgeous though!

Alright so here’s the deal: I love the Alita Graham but it seems to me that your dilemma is the sweetheart neckline.  For the difference in cost, why not go for the alteration of the first gown?  It’s gorgeous!

I prefer the second one, but both are gorgeous so you can’t go wrong.  I just think the second one is more unique, and like you said, WOW!

I prefer the first one… It has more of the wow factor for me (without being overstated). I think it’s unique and I love the diagonal skirt. Plus, it can be altered to have a sweetheart neckline, which would make it even more fabulous! πŸ™‚

If it were my dress, I’d go with the first one — less expensive, better fit, and slightly less full of a skirt.

But it’s your dress — choose the one you love the most!

@yqmbride – Both are gorgeous and you’ll look amazing no matter what!!!  IMO, I think $1,800 is a HUGE difference in price.  What is it about the second one that you think has more of a WOW factor?  Is it the fullness of the skirt?  The sweetheart neckline?  Or?  I personally love the bling on the first one and am wondering if you could add some tulle underneath or wear a layered hoop skirt to make it more full?  You could also modify the neckline a bit if you wanted. It’s your choice and your day, so do what makes YOU happy!  Wink

Oh wow… I’m totally torn.  Each of those dresses has something I loved about my own (asymetrical ruffle on the first and the sweetheart neckline on the second.  But I think I vote for the first one.

@yqmbride – YAY!  I’d chat with your seamstress about making the skirt more full on your special day, which will flatter your figure even more.  Think of the bling that you can seek to go with that dress.  Oh, what fun!
