If you can’t afford them.  Step. Away.

Stop. Looking.  You are torturing yourself!!!

Make a list of all the things you DO need.  Not necessarily for the wedding, but how about other purchases that you’ve been holding off on b/c of the wedding.

Then, think of how you could use that money towards that.

Or, if you are a humanitarian, think of the many people in the world that make less $1 a DAY.  Yep, those shoes would be the equivalent to more than TWO YEARS worth of their work.  Could you imagine showing them a pair of shoes and seeing their reaction when they found out how much it was?  …that always helps me put purchases in perspective. πŸ™‚

I’m a shoe lover, so I feel your pain.  I’d also convince myself that those dream shoes would be the most uncomfortable things on your feet.  And, with CA Sales Tax – do you really want to pay $70 just in TAX on them??  That’s more than the great pair of shoes you already own!!

Hang in there!!! πŸ™‚

theyre gorgeous, but you’ll probably never wear them again.  Take it from me, I got gifted a pair of CLs for my wedding and about 5 people actually saw them.  One was the photographer, one was my husband.  Use that money wisely elsewhere

Im all for the humanitarian argument too!!!

I am glad someone talked you out of spending over $700 on a pair of shoes for the wedding.  *pat pat* You totally do not need them especially if you can’t afford them.  That’s just ridiculous price for a pair of shoes, imo.  The money can be put into much better use somewhere else.

Also, if you have a long gown, it’s more than likely that no one will even notice what shoes you are wearing! πŸ˜‰

no ones going to see your shoes, lol! if your going to have major impulse shoe shopping do it on a pair you can wair all the time (not sure if that’s a helpful suggestion, but just my thoughts)! mine are super cute from dsw and have ruffles on the back- and were $50. stick with your comfertable pair and you’ll be happier:)
