We're getting forever stamps. I'll try to get some that look "weddingish" but honestly... I just plan to slap 'em on and send 'em out. ;)
We did the gold rings, the wedding cakes, and the flowers. For our invites we used the wedding cakes and if needed (for the international ones) we also used the gold rings. For the STD's we used the flowers, and for the response cards we used the wedding rings. :) We got all of them at our local post office.
My post office was pretty beat and on hand didn't have much variety. If you plan ahead it seems like there are lots of options.
I stuck to my "Latin Music Legends" forever stamps, they were crazy and awkward but somehow fit us as a couple.
There is also a chance that once you realize how much you may be spending on stamps, you won't care ;) lol
Thanks, everyone. I think we'll go ahead and use the white flowers for the response cards (FI bought way too many a while ago when we were sending out STDs). I'll figure out what we'll use for the invitations tomorrow when we go get them weighed.
I had our outer envelopes run through at the post office because they would have needed a bunch of stamps and I thought it would look tacky. On the reply I had them personalized on zazzle with our engagement pics. I actually got those stamps for less than what they were worth because I waited for a coupon.
They have some adorable ones on Zazzle that I wanted soo badly for my STDs! But, they're like $22 for 20. I ended up getting mine from the USPS. They're white with the word "Love" written on the side in purple, with purple flowers. They're somewhere around $8 for 20.
@Pinksapphire: Yeah, I was browsing the internet and saw stuff about Zazzle, found a design I loved, and was about to go for it. Then I saw the price. Forget that.
