I’m 6’1″ and so far I’ve tried on dresses twice, but not too seriously yet. My favorite contenders at the moment are:
Maggie Sottero Abilene
and Lazaro 3006 (but haven’t tried it on yet).
What are the rest of you tall girls wearing? When I was in the bridal salons they were excited and said I could pull off different dresses because of the height (I guess they thought some of them would swallow shorter girls?)
I’d love to see what you picked!

OHHH I am sadly no where near 6 foot 1 (more like 5 foot 2 🙁 ) but I LOVE the Farlow on you!!

I’m 5’9″ so I suppose I would be considered tall. 🙂 I’m wearing an Alfred Angelo dress (style 2119). I was mostly super excited about being tall when they informed me that the dress would not have to be hemmed. They were like, “Holy crap! You’re the perfect height for this dress!” Hehe.
@Pinkmoon: I love the Enzoani Farlow on you! It’s gorgeous! 🙂

@Pinkmoon: If you’re interested I have a Kenneth Pool Minuet for sale for $750 (OBO) this is the link here. It’s a size 8 and would fit someone all the way up to 6’3″ or 6’4″. Let me know if you’re interested at all!

Thanks ladies! I do love the Farlow a lot but I don’t think I like how it would be bustled. That’s my only hangup!
@Erika_Meep: Are those pockets in your dress? That’s awesome haha! I will probably have to stuff a lip gloss in my boobs or something because I apply that stuff all day long!

@Pinkmoon: Yes! The pockets in the dress are what ultimately won me over when I had two dress contenders left. 😛 I’m the same way as far as my lips go (I hate for them to ever get dry). I’m also thinking of having a hanky in one of the pockets for potential crying that may occur that day (this is very likely to happen).
Sorry the Farlow has a bustle you may not like. That stinks. But luckily, you still have some time to look for your perfect dress! 🙂

i love the first 2 dresses. so pretty. it would be hard for me to decide between the 2, but i think the first one would win out.
