Hello, ladies, I am 6' with an insem of 36" and I'm wondering where you buy your pants? I have been tortured with this task since I was 15 to find pants, so far the only place I can really find them is Alloy.com for a reasonable price and in my size, (I'm not a skinny minny).... Where do the rest of you tall ladies buy your pants?

Bummers...if you get long length at the Limited it's a 34" inseam, and if you let out the hem you can make it 36. I always let out the hem on mine (except on the regular length ones; I'm not as tall as you!). They usually have a few different basic colors (between 3 and 6 or so) available.

Charlotte Russe sometimes has long pants but when I buy their pants I have to undo the hem and iron it out to get an extra half and inch or more.

But alot of stores Long and Extra Long pants but only available in select styles

Thanks I hadn't really thought about letting hems out (duh), I am not very good with sewing and whatnot, but I will def look into that...

I buy Levi's and usually those longs are okay. I'm also 6'! I also usually strech the legs out when I'm washing them before putting them in the dryer to keep them from shrinking up

Thanks, even in the stores the long or tall pants arent long enough and tend to shrink a tiny bit in thee wash which pushes them into flood territory... I literally haven't bought a pair of pants in a store since 2001

@Jen4414: I am 5'11 with 36" inseam; I feel your pain about buying pants.  I have had AWESOME luck with JCrew.  Their *tall* pants come in a 36" inseam...jeans, too!  NY & Co. is where I buy my work pants, but make sure you try them on because not all of their pants are created equal.  I also have good luck with a few designer Jean companies - Hudson and Seven for all man kind.  Oh, and check Ann Taylor Loft, I purchased a pair of their jeans that are actually a little too long.  Right?!  I know!  However, JCrew happens to be a pant favorite.

    Good Luck!

I'm 6' too! I second moosejaw's comments - I find that the premium jean companies (Joe's, Seven's, Rock & Republic) tend to be way longer, but you pay for that too! Gap and Banana Republic both have tall pants with a 36' inseam.  Good luck!

I get my jeans at Maurices.  I also get them at The Buckle!  I get my work pants at Oldnavy.com too!

Gap's Tall line has 36.5 - 37" inseams, but is available exclusively online. :/

Long Tall Sally.  They are a UK company but they ship to the US and Canada and the prices are very reasonable.  Inseams as long as 38" and sizes from 4-24 I believe... I buy all my pants and many of my jeans from them!  http://us.longtallsally.com/

I have to disagree with a few comments, NY and company, old navy, charlotte russe are not long enough for me.   I second the Jcrew, and premium jeans (hudson, joes, seven, rast).  They are pricey but I've had success with trying them on in store to get the right fit and size and then buying them off ebay.   Also Gap longs work sometimes and Banana Republic sometimes they need alteration.

I hope this isnt threadjacking but what do you do for Jackets and dress shirts?  I havent had any luck anywhere with getting the arms long enough and sometimes the body lengthn.  Jcrew and banana republic longs are close but not enough.

old navy pants are like... the shortest ever on me! i'm not especially tall, but I have long legs. Express seems to have the longest that I've seen - even their regulars are longer than most other companies' longs!

Also, you mentioned you're not good at sewing - do NOT rehem them yourself! just find a cheap alterationist! it's seriously only like $5-10, and they're pros - it's nothing for them! :]

I'm 5'11 and I have had excellent luck with Hudsons, Citizens of Humanity, and 7 for all Mankind jeans.  I know they can be incredibly expensive, but I've had a lot of luck finding good deals (both in stores and on ebay).  Gap jeans are usually long enough for me as well, but they never seem to fit me that well otherwise (seems like they stretch out SO much).

I am 36 inseam, so I end up buying expensive jeans (True Religion, Seven.)  I wish I could just walk in to Kohls and grab some Levi's.  Jcrew has tall, but only online.

I'm 5'10 and I usually buy 36" inseam pants, thought I think I'm technically a 35. Luckily I can get away with most "long" inseams from places like the gap and levis.

American Eagle has lower priced jeans. The Longs fit me fine 34.5-35 and if you love the fit other than the length, you can order X Long 36'' off their website :)

6'3", 37" inseam here, so i feel your pain! i stick to gap and banana republic, with the occasional old navy. it sucks having to buy it all online though, because not everything works well. (gap's boyfriend trousers made me look like i had saggy harem-pants bottom to the max. not flattering. at all.)

i wish i could venture out of my gap, inc. bubble, but it's difficult for anything other than shorter skirts/shorts/etc.

I'm 5'9 and my sister (who is 14) is 6'1, I kid you not! Honestly, we have found the best jeans (which is what we normally wear) at Walmart. Yes they're cheap and only last a few months but I can't find anywhere else that carry ones that fit/feel right.
