I’m 5’10” and will be wearing 2 3/4″ heels and my Pronovias gown will still need to be hemmed (it’s a regular length gown, I did not need to order extra length).

I’m almost 5’11” and am going to be wearing a Sottero and Midgely gown with 3 inch heels.  I didn’t need to order extra length.  🙂  I don’t have any pics right now, but when I upload them I’ll post again in this thread.

I am 5’11” and I need to wear flats with my gown. I am jealous of those who can wear heels and didn’t order extra length!!

I’m 5’11”, and I wore flats to my wedding.  I didn’t need my dress hemmed one bit — it was a Justina McCaffrey, FWIW.  I’ll be starting my recaps soon, so you’ll be able to see my dress in full effect!

I’m 6’6″ tall, so there’s no question I’m an Amazon!  Even the longest dresses were tea-length on me, except for the ones that just fell at a strange length.  Found a beautiful dress, took the crenoline out so it didn’t “poof” as much and proudly wore my 2″ satin heels.

I should add that I tried having one made, but it wasn’t affordable and would have been very very very plain.  We also tried adding material to the bottom of the dress I loved, but it just looked added to . . .So that was my compromise.

I’m 6.1′ and will be wearing flats since I’m the same height as my groom. The only alteration that my Alfred Angelo gown needs is a bustle put in! The skirt is just the right length, I didn’t need to do anything special 🙂
