My wedding is June 21 (OMG so SOON!), and im starting to worry about tan lines. I have an open back dress (Maggie Sottero, bernadette). I was originially just planning on avoiding sun bathing in a swim suit until after the wedding (dont know of any backless suits lol)… but TOTALLY forgot about my bachelorette party, which is a pool party in Las Vegas!
My fiance lives in Las Vegas (I currently live a few states away), and I will be with him for the next few weeks. My bachelorette party is over Memorial Day Weekend. Its pretty hard to avoid getting lots of sun exposure. We also planned going to a water park on June 1 since we have passes.
My question is, what options are there for getting an even tan after you already have some tan lines? Should I go to a few sessions in the tanning booth before heading to las Vegas? Are spray tans too orangey for a wedding day?
Any advice helps!

@FutureDrZ: does your Fiance know of a place oyu can go and just lay with your bathing suit untied so you’re on your tummy and covered but your back is exposed? Might be an easier way to even it up??

I would tan before so you don’t burn and peel. I have the same issue – I’ve been outside alot and worried about tan lines. Get a shirt or bathing suit that matches your dress lines – maybe you can find a backless one piece that does up behind your neck if thats how your dress is, or tan without your top done up. SUNSCREEN! seriously, nothing looks worse than tan lines in an elegant dress.

I plan on tanning with my top undone in the back, but i can’t really do that at my bachelorette party in Vegas… even though its a pool, its really a party, and not much lying around and sunbathing lol.

A friend of mine uses a bit of blush or bronzer on tan lines to even them up. I’ve tried it for an evening out (halter swim suit then strapless top) & it worked great – just not sure about how close the tan lines might be to your dress & something like that could rub but might be worth thinking about.

what about those strapless bikini ones, thats what I do when i dont want tan lines.

Definitely tan before if your not against that. Sunscreen is a must, even if you are tanned. Then if you do get lines, self tanner will definitely help or even a spray tan closer to the date.
