WTH I just saw a Target commercial on tv for I guess their Thanksgiving holiday ad? It LITERALLY flashed “$99/lb” for turkey and then ended with #MyKindofHoliday or something.
$99 per pound? For a turkey? LOL OMG. Can you say typo!

I think I saw that commercial too – are you sure it’s not $.99/lb?
Either way my Kroger ad says like $.53/lb and Albertsons has $.46/lb I think. Maybe it’s a more expensive type/seasoned one or something.

@aggie2010: I’m 100% positive it said $99/lb! I even had to Google it right after I saw it cause I couldn’t believe it and sure enough there are Facebook Pages on the commercial and blogs/comments on the “typo.” For a split millisecond I actually thought that turkeys did cost $99/lb LOL
ETA! I saw a comment on the Target FB page and someone said the ‘dot’ in $.99 is hidden in the background of the commercial! LOL oh man!

@NYCkindaBee: there’s a small . in front of the 99
I saw the same ad this weekend in the movie theatre – which is the only way I caught that small period. It’s there!

@NYCkindaBee: they definitely should have put. $0.99 or 99¢ because I saw it the same way at first!
