Anyone else having major problems with the target.com website? After about a week of trying to just create an account to start a registry without success I called Target and learned they were updating their website. It was days after before I was able to get in and start the registry. That was 11/6. Since then I have not been able to log on. I keep getting an “Oops! We couldn’t process your request” screen.
I even upgraded my browser today just to be sure that it wasn’t on my end. And…nope! Can’t log in to manage my registry.
I called today was transferred to 3 different people, when I was finally transferred to a Wedding Registry supervisor the call was immediately disconnected. I called back, obvi, asked for a supervisor and got some guy that just kept telling me there was a “temporary” technical issue that he couldn’t comment on…and when I said I was considering taking my business elsewhere due to the inconvenience he said “Mmhmmm”.
Yay customer service! I was expecting to hear from a Target Team Member that I wasn’t the only one with this problem. Am I? Any other brides out there struggling with their Target registry???
I have given Target SOOOO much love over the years (ask my credit cards) why won’t they love me back???

The issue I have had more is that Target seems to turn over it’s stock more often so a bunch of things have gone out of stock online. Which is tragic because they were things I couldn’t find anywhere else! But I haven’t had too many technical difficulties. The only time was when they did that big release of some new designer stuff and it crashed the whole website.

UGH! Target sucks. I love shopping there in person- but I made a registry during the summer and I can’t log on to it and change stuff- period. Will definitely put as much stuff as I can on my Macys and Crate & Barrel registries. I have sent numerous online complaints through their site and no replies… I wouldn’t even be able to log on and delete my registry.

It’s not just the registry. It took me 3 days to order two dresses that were only sold online. My advice is to be patient and keep at it. Hopefully it’ll be fixed soon! (Esp. with Black Friday next week)

Its been working pretty well for me thus far, but I’ve only registered online. I hope you have better luck now!

I’ve had the same problem with them discontinuing everything constantly.
Also, it keeps telling me that three items have been purchased off my registry, but it will only show me two things as purchased.

I am frustrated with them too. I had the baby’s nursery all ready to go in my “saved items” and half of them are out of stock now. Cool.

Fiance and I registered in store, I haven’t tried the online part yet but now I’m nervous 🙁 The only other place we registered was Kohl’s and we really don’t have any other options since most of the typical registry stores are at least an hour from out hometown and where all of our guests are from.

My guests are able to access the registry. The problem is I can’t change anything on it! And with the problem some of the other girls are having with stuff going out of stock all the time I’m nervous too! I could add/subtract things in the store, I suppose, but there are some items on the website that aren’t IN the store. grrrr
