I have yet to here of anything that will cover up tattoos really well. Why don’t you just let them show?

There isn’t one. Any “cover up” will only draw attention to the fact you are trying to hide it. Plus, there is the risk that it will end up on your clothes and everyone else, thus defeating the purpose as well.

A tattoo is part of who you are and if you don’t want it at your wedding, you should not have gotten it in the first place, or else found a dress that covered it, depending on the location. Your family and friends who see you daily with a tattoo will wonder why you are trying to hide it at your wedding, when it is part of who you are. Tons of brides have their tattoos in plain view, even if they are conservative, and people know better than to say anything negative

My suggestion is photoshop! Have your photog. photoshop the tattoo out of the pictures, so your album won’t have it in there.

Try Make Up Forever’s full coverage line of concealers and foundations.  My friend is a movie make up artist and that’s what she uses on actors with tats who need them covered for a job.

Ben Nye. It’s stage makeup but they make an amazing kit for cover-ups. Check their website for a dealer near you. I took a stage makeup class last year in college and one of the girls there had amazing success with it!

My friend is a makeup artist at Sephora and she says there really isn’t a product that does a good enough job of tattoo coverup for photos. I think the only surefire coverups are a) fabric or b) photoshop.

If you want your tattoos covered up because of candid (guest) photos of your ceremony, you are probably out of luck :/ Most tattoo cover up has reflective pigment in it that will make any area you cover up show up as a super white band or patch in the photo. I saw a bee post on here a couple of months ago stating how disappointed she was with her tattoo cover up because all her photos showed where the make-up was.

Your best bet is to go go a makeup artists and have them cover it for you. Certain colors will “mask” those of your tattoo (Green covers up red pigments, etc). Then they can cover it in a thick foundation and set it with a powder. It probably won’t stay on the whole night but it would at least cover it for the ceremony.
