So I love tattoos (I have 12) and DH didn’t have any, but he mentioned to me a few times that when we got married he thought it would be cool to get a tattoo on our wedding finger. I showed him a few things I liked when he first mentioned it but never brought it up bc I didnt want him to feel like he HAD to get a tattoo just bc I love them. Two weeks ago we took his wedding band to the store we bought it at bc it was way too loose (come to find out they ordered a size too big) and they told us it would be about 4 weeks til the replacement came in . That was when he brought up us getting ring finger tattoos again. Anyways, long story short we went and got them yesterday and they came out awesome. We went to my tattoo guy that I’ve gotten my last 4 tatts from DH was with me all four times so he felt comfortable going to him. I know tattoos aren’t for everyone but I was so excited I wanted to share 🙂

H and I have tattoos under our rings. Well, his is under his ring and mine sits above my ring. We got them almost three years ago, and they still look fantastic. Neither of us have had to get touch ups or had any noticable fading.
L is the first initial of our last name.

I love the idea of tattoo rings and have discussed it with OH often. We would both like them but we have no idea what to get exactly!

They look great!
DH and I are already married with rings, but we’ve recently talked about getting tattoos for under our rings as a sweet thing to do.

I have seen a few different styles of tattoos for wedding bands, but I haven’t seen your style before and I really like your roman numbers! Lovely idea! ^^

Both of those ideas are very sweet. FI and I have mentioned it, but not sure if we’ll actually do it.

- Wedding: A very pretty church.
Not really compatible with our future careers, but I love the idea.

I absolutely love the idea, but I’ll get my ass chewed if I show up at work with a visible tattoo…

hazyleyedbeauty: They look great! I am actually wanting to get my ring finger tattooed on the inside with a couple little music notes, because DH is a musician

hazyleyedbeauty: I love them! We like the idea of it very much. FI can not wear a ring when he is working so he wants to get something that he can have while working.

AccioShoes: I love that idea! They look great!
Jeo4500: i thought about it for a while trying to decide what we could get here…I wanted to get something special and unique to us… and something that wasn’t too feminine that DH would like too 🙂
lorelai: KittyNoire: FtrMrsStein15: thank you!
Taiki: MrsPiggles: the cool thing about our tattoos is when we are wearing our wedding rings the tattoo is completely covered! DH works in a professional setting and cannot have tattoos visible. My job is more lenient but I didn’t want anything that would distract from my ering and wedding band either.

MrsUPS: same here! FI can’t wear anything loose or jewelry at work (which is most of the time) so he’s going to get a tattoo 🙂 we bought a band for the days when we go out lol cuz he still wanted one, but otherwise he’s getting a tattoo! not sure of what yet haha… i’m going to pass on getting a ring tattoo myself but he’s ok with that

hazyleyedbeauty: I thought about having a cartoon style diamond kind of thing but then it would be visable if we just wore our wedding rings. Although if I wore both it may just cover it!
I also love the idea of the date like you have done because our wedding day is also the same day we became ‘official.’
I guess we have at least a year and at most the rest of our lifes to decide!

Giraffelover: thank you!
MrsUPS: kristen182: I actually stole the idea for the tattoo from a friend of mind that’s a nurse. She doesn’t wear her rings at work and she got a heart tattood on her ring finger. I loved the placement idea ever since!
Bridey77: I love the idea of the music notes! I love sentimental stuff like that… Just makes it that much more special
