Mine are japanese symbols the top one means Father, Bottom one means daughter. It is a memorial to my dad who died when I was 16.

Aw man, I don't have any pictures of mine! I only have 2 and I hate one of them. The other one is in a... hidden location thus the no picture issue. Nice tat's though guys. I wanna get another one after the wedding. Right were you guys put yours, along your side.
I LOVE this thread!!! What a great idea!! Here's my tattoo on my back - (which I may regret doing! Even though it's super cute) & I have one just underneath my belt line on the front of a horseshoe with a bow wrapped around it! But no picture anywhere!!

My daughter's.....several stars go all the way down to the tip of her pinky toe.
oh well - won't upload - it's stars that start on the top of her foot and graduates down in size. Cute picture too!

My sister got one for her 21st that she designed herself, a phoenix in black ink. I had someone design me a tattoo years ago that I always said I'd use but I never have - I'm so scared of needles!
I have 6 and i love them all but this one really means a lot to me...its an angel wings and halo and my baby sisters nickname....she died on the morning of her very first birthday.

Yay for inked bees! I don't have good pic, and my ink is in an awkward angle for me to take a pic, but it's Cherries with flames behind them... I designed it myself and I know its uber cheesey but I love it.
@littlemissmoo: get it on your back, and you won't see the needle ;).
Oooo neat thread! I love tattoos but I try to control my urge to get them or I would be covered in them and I need to maintain a professional image for later in life. I have 6 but this one is my favorite...

@spaniel - Thanks!!! I found something kinda similar online and the tattoo artist and I tweeked it a lot and added color but ugh it took over 4 hours
OMG that would have been so hard! I could barely sit still for an hour and a half to get mine. :)
yea it was no fun at all especially because it wasn't like sitting there for over 4 hours it was laying in an awkward position on my side having to keep it elevated and not moved and control my breathing because of not wanting the guy to mess up lol
I could never get a tattoo. Fear of commitment? lol
I used to work with a girl who had two 3/4 sleeves. They were BEAUTIFUL. I could stare at them all day... they were just full of random things she wanted to get, a work in progress always.
Mine is unfinished... It says Hope is a weapon. There will be blue orchids coming through it when it is done....
This is my favorite. I got the idea from a piercing. :-)
