I just had a conversation with a friend and at my job we could only think of a few people that didn't have at least one tattoo. Even the super conservative people seem to have one (college fraternity, little ladybug on toe)!
So, just curious as to who has them, what age group and if you want - post your favorite one!!
Here's my newest and I looove it! It's a treehugger on my inside bicep, which sums me up perfectly <3

I soooo love the look of a bride with ink!! I think it's just so beautiful and is a wonderful blending of traditional with modern! I also just love the surprise of artwork on the human body :)
I have 4 but this is one of my favs! It was take sideways so tilt your head to the left for the fill effect lol

I'm 24 now. I got this tattoo when I was 18. This is the only one I have:
Location: In the middle of my back, above my bra strap.
The color is "fleshy flesh"
This was taken soon after I got it, so it's a bit more faded now...
Mine is on my hip - it's the only one I have. Sorry it's a really crappy webcam pic...the letters are actually distinct and say "l'amour". The l forms part of the heart and the apostrophe is kind of like a leaf on the flower stem. I got it about two and a half years ago and I drew it myself :)

These are all so nice! Love it! Isn't is amazing that 50% of the people that responded have tattoos? For something that used to be so taboo it's awesome that they enjoy such a large amount of wearers!
@luckyprincess: But also keep in mind that girls with tattoos are more likely to click on the thread. So it's probably a little bit lower percentage-wise.
I have tattoos, but I don't have pictures of them all. Or at least not on this computer. Now I have to search hah.
The first: Let It Be located on the back of my neck. Love the Beatles. Sorry it's a bit blurry
Second: love tattoo located on my right leg.
Third: star tattoo with my baby brother's initials (like my own son) located on my left leg
I plan to get a few more when I have the money. I'm DYING to get some new ink.

Sorry this is so big. I have 8 total (one of them is the orchid branch that takes up my whole back). I think 75% of the people my age (32) I know have tattoos.
These are the ones I have photos of. The stars will be redone. NEVER LET A FRIEND OF A FRIEND WHO IS JUST STARTING OUT DO YOUR WORK! UGH! Anyway, in april I will add another star representing 5 year clean from cocaine. Hopefully the new artist will be able to fix up the shading and the colors and lines. lol

I'm 27 and I have one small one on the side of my heel. I'm one of the few people I know who has a tattoo.
I'll be 25 in March and I have 2 small tattoos... I got my tattoos at 19 and on my 21st birthday.
My first tattoo (because I'm obsessed with dragonflies)
And my second tattoo (on my forearm) right after I got it... It says "follow your heart" in my hand writing (incase your wondering why it's hard to read.)

I need to get the one on my foot redone, and the one on my arm is starting to fade... But I love them. :)

I have a virgo symbol on my right hip that says virgo underneath it. It's teeny, and I got it on my 18th birthday. I forget I have it, honestly!
I'm working on a drawing right now of my next one - a Claddagh in color on my back. Probably up high, so I'm waiting for after the wedding to get it :)
I have one but its on my hip where nobody ever sees it. I honestly forget I have it. I sometimes regret where I got it, but what are you gonna do, right?
Nice tats. I have 6 as of right now. I plan on getting more, I have a design I am working on getting on my wrist as a bracelet as soon as the scratches I have heal up. (New puppy) It will be a memorial tat for my Uncle who was murdered when I was 13. But here are a couple of the ones I have. I need to get pics of the others.
I have 9 so far. I own a tattoo shop, so more are coming. just pictures of a couple..the first is for my Stepdad who passed away almost 4 years ago, second is lower back with my daughter's initials, upper back designed and tattooed by a friend and last is on my left ankle. symbol means "learn from your mistakes" and my friend embellished it a bit. sorry, huge pictures 
I have two, one I got for my 20th birthday, it's on my right butt cheek, but close to my lower back. That one is an incomplete heart made out of vines and flowers, it was going to be finished when I reached a running goal time in college, that never happened but it's a good reminder of how sometimes you can try with all your might but still miss the bar. It keeps me humble.
The other one I got when I started my first real full time job at a big company, I was also going to grad school at the time and had made a mini documentary about the tattoo artist. This one I have a picture of:

I have two and am planning on getting at least one more. I have a smaller one on my big toe that I don't have a pic of. It is a stick running man that I got after running in Cross Country Nationals my frehsman year of college.
This is my one on my back for Hurricane Katrina. It was right after I did it the first time so it is screaming! I have since added blue to the water. 
I got my first one, a big tribal tattoo with the Japanese kanji symbol for "Love" on my lower back when I was 25 (10 yrs. ago). Ignore the dumb decision of getting my ex's name above it a few years later. To make matters worse, not only did he want his name on me, he wanted it to be possessive (Dusty's). My fiance just took this pic for me & kept trying to yank my shirt down to cover the ex's name, guess he doesn't like it......time for a cover-up!
ETA: This was before I knew they were often called "tramp stamps" 
I also have a little gazelle with flippers on my lower back (woo tramp stamp!) but my wings are my favorite.
@o0olibelulao0o: I'm loving the "follow your heart" in your handwriting! My tattoo is in my handwriting as well! :)
I grew up in the Midwest and while lots of my friends got tattoos in college, I always avoided as I know that my skin will eventually betray me. Too many old biker ladies scared me away from them. I can't stand sagging skin and tattooed sagging skin is even worse for me. Everyone gets to do what they want to, that's why I think it's so cool to be in the U.S. - many women around the world don't have control over their own bodies - tattoo symbolize democracy to me but they aren't for me.
At the moment, I have 4 tattoos. One on my neck, back and both of my arms :).
I wish I could think of who it is but one of the Bee's has a MASSIVE back piece. I would love to see how she finished it. *Hunts for bee photos*
ETA: Yessss. Mrs. Sushi has an amazing tattoo.
I on the other hand do not currently have any. I want one but since it is permanent I want something extremely meaningful and have yet to find anything pretty and meaningful to endure the pain for.
I have over 10, however I do not like all of them, I'm stuck until after the wedding and buying house before I can afford to get them removed. I have been tattooed for 15 years and lots have changed since then. I don't regret all though. I'm content with my tattoos.

I have three, two are for my sisters. My three elephants across my lower back. One for each sister, and our baby sister passed away in 2005 at the age of 18. That's why one has angel wings and a halo on it.
All three of us have this same gecko in different parts of our bodies. Our sister's name was Elizabeth, and we always called her Lizard Breath when she was a kid.
The third is a Jesus fish that will be turned in to a Darwin fish when I get my next tattoo done (Because I have evolved).
I'm going to get justice scales WHEN I pass the bar in July (no if's here!).
