Hi,

I've googled, yahooed, and search theknot high and low for some vendor reviews for Tavern on the Green but have not had any luck. Am I looking in the wrong places on theknot. I know it's a popular place for weddings so there should be a ton of reviews in the profiles area but I can't seem to find any. Can someone please help? Thanks a million.

Hi NYCBride, I know recently I heard a wedding podcast on a couple who got married at Tavern on the Green. I'm not sure if they gave a full review of the place, but they do talk about it. I've eaten there and their food and service is great!

I checked out tavern on the green as a possible venue, I thought it felt kind of rundown, maybe it looks better at night, not too fond of the mirrors along the corridor

I haven't been to a wedding, but I've eaten there and thought the food was pretty dreadful. If you care a lot about food, I wouldn't have it there, personally... even New York Magazine says the food "isn't good" though their hors d'oeuvres is supposed to be better than entrees. If you live in NYC, you could always try it for lunch or something.

I just had my wedding there on May 2, and it was absolutely beautiful! Food was great! I believe their catering kitchen is different than their nightly kitchen, which is probably why the food was fantastic! Everyone @ Tavern was extremely helpful. From the florist, to the event planner, to the waitstaff, they all made it a wonderful and very memorable event.
