I'm not sure if I will get anything back, but if I do, it is 100% for the wedding!
I didn't even factor the refund into my budget. I think I'm going to pay for transportation for the guests (so they can eat drink and be merry!).
My tax refund check, and the change under the sofa cushions, and the bottle recycling money...

I'm trying to keep wedding money separate from other money. I had already saved up what we're allocating for the wedding, and when that's gone, it's gone (yikes, once I say that out loud, it's pretty scary!)... any tax refund I get will go straight to savings.
I'll update you in July when it's all said and done ;)
Typically we would take half of the money and put in savings and the other half we do something fun. But thie year, it all has to go to the wedding. We had to move the wedding up a few months so we didn't get to save as much as we wanted to.
We estimated how much we'd get back and divided it up into what we're paying for it with.
Some will go towards a honeymoon & some towards the wedding. Can't wait, it's much needed!
If I get a refund, I will absolutely put it towards my wedding fund. It will likely be around the time that I book my first few wedding things, so it will be nice to have.
Fingers crossed I won't owe!
I heart tax time so much! The only time it pays to be a single mom! Anywho... most of our tax returns will go towards the wedding probably. Just depends on how much we get. We have some other things we want... like a fence for the yard!

All of our tax return is going toward the wedding and honeymoon. So yes wedding stuff!
We already know how much we're getting back, and part of it will go toward the wedding and part of it to buy the Sig he wants and probably part to buy something I want (no idea what).
I don't like to expect a tax return. I pretend that's money that I never expected and usually use it to pay down debt or put into savings. Our wedding is before I'll get my tax return, so if I get a nice chunk back it will 'prolly go towards any debt that was aquired wedding wise or debt wise in general.
HA. Tax refund, shmax refund. We owe because of the marriage penalty. And it's not chump change either... =(
I doubt I will get any refund, but if I do it's going to the wedding fund!
I've already filed my taxes and will be using my full refund towards the wedding. We do not have a photographer, because our budget is so low. So I will use my entire small refund to get a photographer.
I was going to use my refund towards the wedding, but I started my taxes last week and it looks like I'm going to owe the federal government for the first time in my life. Wah. I always owe the state, but it's never much. FI never gets a refund either, so so much for that!
I think I am getting over $3k back... am assuming my FI is getting roughly the same amount back. I would like to put ALL of it towards it but I could never convince him to do that. In fact, he would be mad at me if he knew I put all of mine towards it, but I think I might and not tell him :O SHHH!! I just really want ceiling draping!
