To be honest it looks DIY to me!

But the concept I really really like!

Did you do the calligraphy yourself? Can you maybe print the words and numbers out using a calligraphy script on your computer and then cut out the oval with a template? I think this will give it a more finished look!

The backing part, the blue and black mat, looks great!

I think they’re very classy!  I would make the brown sheet of paper square to go with the frame, instead of having to cut it (much less work!).  Good job!

I love the frame and I think you can still make something work. I think the inside where the number is looks a little too DIY. Know what I mean? The number can be mounted on some beautiful card stock and the numbers thmeselves could look a little more…put together. Here are a few ideas that you might like or could get you started on something else if you are unsure of what you’ve made.

1st, do you have any friends or family members who are good scrapbookers? I scrapbook and have horrible writting. So I use rub ons for all my wording on my pages. I also own a cricut machine that cuts them out for me. These are expensive however, so I don’t suggest buying one. However maybe one of your family members or friends who scrapbook has one and you can ask for some help. Provide lunch or something and make an afternoon of it! Also, go to your local craft store like Micheals and ask if they can show you something in their scrapbook aisle that might work for what you want to do. There’s great precut options out there that might work for your budget.

2nd idea is totally different, what about photocopying you and your FI favorite book covers, CD’s,  or peoms (with the titles printed large at the top hopefully), etc. and name your tables instead of number them? Not sure if you bought your place card settings yet or if you could even change it at this point. But it’s just an idea. Maybe you could even change it to match the theme of your wedding somehow. Maps from your favorite beach vacations if your have a beach themed wedding for instance. Just make sure the maps have the name of state or city clearly printed in large letters for whats showing in the frame. Mat them and they would look beautiful!! If you don’t like all the different colors you could copy them into black and white so they all match or something.

No matter what you decide to do or change or even not change, it is a small detail that will be over looked when everyone sees how beautiful you are on that day and how in love you and your new husband are!!

P.S. Sorry for the long reply. Surprised

Oh oh oh! One more idea that doesn’t require too much changeing at all!

What about buying some nice card stock in the colors that you’re doing and printing the table numbers from your computer at home? Then you can pick the font and have it look really prfessional.
